All services are subject to a separate formal quotation and Service Agreement signed by both parties. The scope, specifications, timeline, and pricing will be clearly stated in the approved quotation or contract.
2. Quotations and Proposals
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated.
- Quotations are based on site conditions observed during assessment. Any changes in site conditions, design requirements, or additional work may result in variation costs.
- Final pricing and scope will be confirmed in the formal Service Agreement.
3. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 30% – 50% is required upon acceptance of quotation and before work commences (exact percentage will be stated in the quotation).
- Progress payments will be scheduled according to project milestones.
- Final payment is due upon successful commissioning and handover of the system.
- All payments are to be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD) via bank transfer or other approved methods.
- Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month.
4. Project Timeline and Installation
- Project timelines are estimates only and subject to weather conditions, material availability, authority approvals (e.g., EMA, BCA, HDB), and site access.
- We will make reasonable efforts to complete the project within the agreed timeframe, but we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and full access to the site for assessment and installation.
- Obtain all necessary approvals and permissions from relevant authorities and building management.
- Ensure the site is safe and prepared for installation works.
- Not make any modifications to the installed system without our prior written consent.
6. Warranty
- Product Warranty: Solar panels, inverters, and other equipment carry manufacturer warranties (typically 10–25 years for panels and 5–10 years for inverters). Details will be provided in the Service Agreement.
- Workmanship Warranty: We provide a standard 5-year workmanship warranty on installation works.
- Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, extreme weather events, or failure to perform recommended maintenance.
7. Maintenance and After-Sales Service
Optional maintenance packages are available. Preventive maintenance is strongly recommended to maintain system performance and validity of warranties.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sineco Energy shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profit, revenue, or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement in accordance with the terms stated in the signed Service Agreement. Upon termination, you remain responsible for payment of all works completed up to the termination date.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and any contract between you and Sineco Energy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
